Emmet B. Keeffe III

Emmet B. Keeffe III is a Venture Partner at Insight Partners and joined the firm in 2014. He is passionate about accelerating Digital transformation at large global companies by driving the awareness and adoption of transformative enterprise software by global IT organizations. Emmet is leveraging his vast personal rolodex to build Insight Ignite, an innovation program that delivers Innovation Briefings, an Innovation Roundtable Services, and Growth Advisory Board opportunities to global IT leaders. Emmet also brings extensive experience as an entrepreneur to advise portfolio CEOs on sales, marketing, and business development growth strategies. He is a Board Director at Tricentis, Resolve Systems, Logtrust and WalkMe and a member of the Growth Advisory Boards at Fenergo, Diligent, Mirantis, Skytap and FireMon within the Insight portfolio.

In 1998, Emmet co-founded iRise with a vision to dramatically accelerate software delivery by transforming how business and IT stakeholders communicate about requirements for custom and packaged business software. iRise invented the market for “Collaborative Visualization” and has become the world’s leading provider of software visualization with nearly 1,000 customers worldwide. As CEO & Co-Founder, Emmet applied his philosophy of “the network is the business” to become exceptionally well connected with business and IT leaders across all industries; he leveraged his network to drive revenue growth at iRise. Emmet currently serves as Co-Founder and Board Director at iRise.

In 2005, Emmet founded the “Executive Roundtable Series” with a vision to deliver world-class thought leadership and networking opportunities to CIOs at large global companies. The Roundtables have been attended by thousands of IT leaders globally and the program leveraged motorsports as a paradigm and networking platform. Emmet continues to pursue his passion for racing and is a Board Director and Co-Owner of the Campos Racing team which competes for the Formula E, Formula 2, GP3 and F3 championships among others. He also serves a Business Ambassador for a few select Formula 1 teams and leverages his executive relationships to introduce new business partners to the series.

Finally, Emmet is a Resident Expert at the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, serves on the Advisory Boards of DocuSign, UST Global and The Digital Board and is passionate about international peace and global sustainability. He an Advisory Board member at Peace One Day and a Board Trustee at the Royal Society Southeast Asia Rain Forest Research Programme (SEARRP).

Emmet holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley. He lives in London and enjoys his family, driving Radical SR3’s, traveling, photography, running, skiing and playing drums in his blues rock band.
