Drag and drop test cycles across versions, move folders between cycles, leverage test steps across multiple projects, unlink irrelevant defects from test runs, expand test steps during data entry, and view progress when deleting large folders.

The new global reporting in TTM for Jira offers a centralized dashboard that generates detailed cross-project reports, offering a comprehensive view of test performance and progress across your entire account in one place. Global reporting improves oversight, decision making, and collaboration, giving stakeholders a clear and unified perspective on testing progress across all teams. With global reporting, teams align more effectively, enabling better-informed decisions based on the performance and status of tests at various stages. 

Global reporting offers the flexibility to roll up project data to be viewed at the account level, project level, or at the release level based on the needed view.

• Account level: Displays an overview of all activated projects within your account, showing the overall status of your test runs across multiple projects.
• Project level: Allows users to select a specific project to zoom into for detailed reports.
• Release level: For each release, the report provides insights into associated test cycles and any specific folders.

Requirement Execution Progress Report: Better tracking and visibility

The Requirement Execution Progress Report is a powerful new feature designed to enhance your ability to track and manage tests tied to requirements. This tool makes it easier to monitor requirement status throughout the execution process. It helps users quickly identify which requirements may have incomplete testing, reducing coverage gaps. Additionally, the report highlights faulty requirements that may not meet expectations, allowing teams to address issues early. It also detects isolated requirements disconnected from the main flow, ensuring better project alignment. The report can be exported as a PDF, making it simple to share with stakeholders and keep everyone aligned on progress.

Custom field configuration: Smarter test management

We have enhanced AI-powered test case creation to make it more precise and relevant for your testing needs. Building upon earlier AI-driven test generation, you can now use custom fields to further refine and customize your test cases. Users select specific fields to be scanned during AI-driven test case creation, customizing the test cases based upon your project configuration. As a result, test cases are more accurate and relevant for your project. You can reuse the same requirements across multiple projects while generating project-specific tuned using these custom field values.

Test cycle management and cross-project functionality: Streamlined organization and collaboration

Additionally, cross-project test management enhancements facilitate collaboration across teams and projects. You can now copy test steps between test cases across various projects, reducing redundancy and saving time in test planning. This improvement simplifies the process of updating test runs, including unlinking defects, ensuring that irrelevant issues do not interfere with your test results. Together, these improvements foster a more efficient, collaborative, and organized testing environment.

Usability and test execution improvements: Enhanced test review and execution

These usability updates make it easier for teams to execute, track, and analyze their tests more effectively, improving overall efficiency and experience:

• A new Result field has been added to track the outcomes of automated test runs, providing clear visibility into test results and aiding in the analysis of test performance.
• Tables were redesigned to enhance the clarity and accessibility of test data, making it easier to navigate and manage your test cases and results.
• A dedicated view for managing and reviewing test cases has been introduced, improving organization and visibility and allowing users to work more efficiently with test data.
• You can now replicate the folder structure from the test design phase to subsequent phases, ensuring consistency and eliminating redundant setup work.
• The addition of environment and build information to tests is now faster and more intuitive, streamlining your setup and configuration process.
