We are excited to announce the release of Tricentis Vera™ 2024.3, delivering further enhancements to approval workflows, user management, system integrations, and performance optimizations for the native Tricentis Tosca integration. These updates streamline processes, improve usability, bolster security, and enhance efficiency, empowering teams to manage projects more effectively.
Tosca integration improvements
Vera has new configuration settings to boost the integration between Tricentis qTest, Tosca, and Vera integration. These options can be requested by Vera Cloud customers and customers hosting Vera can update these settings in their environments.

Configure Jira records to prevent author approval
Maintaining a firm grasp on your approval workflows is essential for maintaining compliance and ensuring accountability. With Vera 2024.3, we’ve extended our author approval restrictions to Jira records, building on the existing functionality for qTest records. Teams can now configure approval routes for Jira Record Types to prevent the author of a record from approving their own work. Authors are identified either via a record’s Jira User Picker field or as the route owner who initiated the approval. This ensures that approvals are transparent and free of conflicts of interest, reinforcing the integrity of your processes

Note: Jira Cloud users will need to share their email address with their organization to leverage this feature.
Enhanced Record Table and Role Management
Managing records effectively is now easier with Vera’s improved Record Table. Advanced filtering capabilities allow users to locate relevant data quickly and accurately. Columns can be reordered and shown or hidden based on user preferences, enabling a customized workflow. These settings persist across sessions, eliminating repetitive adjustments. These updates significantly reduce navigation time, letting teams focus on critical tasks.
Additionally, role management has been simplified with enhancements introduced in Vera 2024.3. In Domain Management, new filtering options streamline the process of locating users and role members, allowing administrators to quickly add or remove multiple users from roles. In User Management, the updated Domains & Roles table lets users select or deselect multiple roles directly within the interface. These improvements minimize errors and administrative effort, ensuring accurate role configurations and more effective role management.
Secure and customizable Vera connections
Vera connections have been upgraded to support custom headers, providing flexibility for system integrations requiring unique configurations. Administrators can now add custom headers to any connection, ensuring seamless communication with external systems.
Furthermore, Vera connections now support PFX-formatted certificates and passwords, enabling secure, encrypted communication with on-premises systems and API gateways. This added security and customization meet the diverse needs of modern organizations, ensuring data protection and efficient integration.
