We are thrilled to announce the release of Vera™ 2024.1! In this new version, we are introducing significant enhancements focused on audit history of domain role changes, streamlined Single Sign-On (SSO) login improvements, and improved Jira formatting support. We understand that maintaining stringent regulatory compliance while enhancing user experience are paramount concerns for any organization. These updates not only strengthen our commitment to regulatory compliance, but also elevate user convenience and productivity within Vera.

Audit history of domain role changes

To adhere to regulatory compliance standards, it is essential to conduct regular user access reviews to ensure the security of sensitive data. Now, user access reviews are more robust and insightful. In addition to user profile and domain record audit history, this new feature provides a comprehensive audit history of domain role changes, enabling organizations to track and analyze any modifications to user access over time. This includes monitoring changes in system and domain rules, providing clear visibility into past and current access privileges. By maintaining a detailed access history, organizations can effectively respond to audits and uphold the integrity of their security protocols.

Jira formatting support

Effective communication and collaboration are essential elements of any successful project. With the integration of Jira formatting support in Vera records, users can now streamline their workflows and enhance the visibility of project-related information. Previously, Vera displayed raw text with Jira markdown, which could be cumbersome to interpret and report. With our latest update, Vera now renders Jira-formatted text, making it easier for users to view and report. This improvement not only enhances the usability of Vera, but also promotes seamless collaboration and efficient project management.

Streamlined SSO login experience and configurable session timeout

Improving the login experience is critical for enhancing user satisfaction and productivity. With Vera’s newest release we have enhanced Single Sign-On (SSO) login functionality, simplifying the authentication process while aligning with industry standards. Users can now seamlessly log in to Vera by clicking the “Login with SSO” option. If they are already logged into their SAML provider, they can access Vera without any additional steps, streamlining the authentication process and reducing login friction. Additionally, users now have the flexibility to configure session timeout values according to their preferences, further enhancing customization and control over their login experience.

Vera 2024.1 represents our ongoing commitment to delivering innovative solutions and enhanced user experience. Stay tuned for more exciting new functionality from Vera later this year! If you would like to learn more about Vera, request a product demo.
